I have naturally curly hair and they ruined the curly in my hair. They trimmed and flat ironed it and fried my hair. They put way too much heat on my hair and then acted like nothing was wrong with it when it was quite obvious how dried out my hair was, breaking off, frizzy and lack of curl. I called the corporate office and the lady just repeated what the salon had told her that "they didn't see any damage to my hair". Well first of all the store manager never looked at my hair until after it was damaged so she had no idea what my hair looked like before the damage. When I came into the salon to have them look at after they ruined it the same girl that ruined my hair just started putting a conditioning treatment on it and when I told her Tosha had wanted to see my hair she said that Tosha was busy. They all acted like I was crazy and only told me to put a conditioning treatment on it 2 times a week. They told me that a flat iron cannot damage hair from one use. Well every other professional hair stylist has told me that a flat iron CAN damage hair if it is too hot from one use. Ethnic and curly hair can be damaged very easily. They acted like I was trying to get money out of them so I paid for the conditioning treatment and left the salon. All I wanted was for them to tell me what to do to get my curls back. I ended up calling my Aunt who does hair in California and she confirmed that flat ironing at very high heat can damage naturally curly hair. She gave me some good advice too: If the stylist does not have the same hair type as you DONT LET THEM DO YOUR HAIR! I have gone to Regis salons frequently in the past and I will NEVER go back to one EVER. Everybody makes mistakes but they do not know what they are doing there (when it comes to my hair type) and they lack professionalism and knowledge on how to fix hair issues.
