Now having three locations, we are humbled to be able to provide an array of services to any and all customers along the East Coast.

Strand Metals Service, Palmetto State Steel, and Cape Fear Steel Corporation are a family-owned and operated group of reinforcing steel (rebar) fabricators and steel warehouses.

Started in July of 1995, Strand Metals Service began in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and then quickly expanded. Driven by construction growth through excellent customer service, we expanded the facility three times in just five-years. Doing so resulted in added equipment, capability expansion, and the ability to service customers with projects of all sizes.

In March of 2005, Palmetto State Steel opened its doors in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Three short months later, Cape Fear Steel initiated operations in Wilmington, North Carolina. CFSC has quickly become a leading source for rebar and accessories in Eastern North Carolina.
