Maid Rite Downtown Cedar Falls
This is an original maid rite shop and has great maid rites, tenderloins, authentic breakfast and home made pies. The counter is generally pretty full - space is tight - eat a maid rite and get to know your neighbor.

A Maid-Rite sandwich is I think unique to Iowa, or at least the midwest. It's a loose-meat sandwich (think of a hamburger made with crumbled ground beef instead of a patty!).
