If ever your Apartment complex needs maintenance done from an outside contracting business, DO NOT USE SMITH AND ELLIOTT BUILDERS, INC. They are a dishonest business that does not do background checks for their employees. Recently my building had its windows replaced in each unit, and this joke of a company had to work in my unit. To get straight to the heart of this message, their employees will snoop and steal personal belongings. I was gone from my apartment for 2 hours today because of class and I knew that maintenance people were going to come in, but when I return, I come to find that various items throughout my room had been displaced and several of my condoms, amongst other personal items, had been stolen. Not to mention my roommates whiskey. These may be minimal property items, but since I know, FOR A FACT, that they had been snooping through my room and all of my personal belongings, they are not to be trusted at all. NEVER USE THEIR BUSINESS.
