I love their automated drop-off and pick-up

For me the worst thing about taking clothes to the cleaners is trying to fit it into my schedule. I recently gave Gate Cleaners a try just because they are close to where I live. However I signed up for the automated drop-off and pick-up (all you need to do to sign up is have a credit card on file) and I've never looked back. I use them way more than I ever used my previous cleaners because of the convenience. I can drop-off clothes before or after work, when most cleaners are closed. It's amazing that it works--I'm a bit of a Luddite on all this new fangled technology stuff--but it does. The computerized retrieval system always finds my stuff.

Unprofessional Business Practices and DAMAGE CLOTHES

Beware of Gate Cleaners unprofessional business practices.

I dropped off two very expensive shirts to be cleaned by them. Was assured that they were very professional and was asked how I wanted them done. I thought everything was well until I went on vacation and took the shirts with me.

Turns out THEY CRACKED MULTIPLE BUTTONS and worse THEY TRIE TO HIDE IT by changing some of the buttons but leaving some cracked ones with cheap ones.

I called to complain and Flora (the owner) had the nerve to tell me that they would charge me $1.50 a button to resew them if I did not have matching buttons. Um... HELLO YOU BROKE MY BUTTONS AND THEN WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR YOUR MISTAKE???!?!?!

Flora is out of her mind - first trying to hide their mistake and unprofessional dry cleaning - then trying to charge me for their error. (She claimed that some shirts cannot be cleaned - that is a first for me, esp since they assured me they could do it).

I am going to go see what they can do to fix

I love this place

I love this place, the people always call me by name and are very friendly. I have had handed in my pants with $100 and they returned my money without me asking for it. The quality is great and worth the slightly higher price.
