We Offer Boarding for Dogs, Cats, and Caged Animals.

Hearthside is an Old World term for a house pet. A hearthside dog or cat was allowed the luxury of its owner’s home. It could lounge by the fireplace and bask in the warmth of the blaze. By living inside it became a member of the family. That is the role pets have for us, and for you. We are a small private facility; fully licensed and insured, striving to carefully tend to the pets entrusted to us. We are pleased to offer facilities for both dogs and cats.


We offer boarding for dogs, cats, and caged animals. Facilities feature indoor-outdoor 24' runs, heated kennel building, optional playtime, large cat enclosures and kitty condos, all competitively priced. Discounts are given for stays of 3 weeks or longer. There are no extra charges for giving medications, nor for special diets. Located in the South Hill area of Puyallup.
