Aftercare left something to be desired
I visited this office a year ago and while I enjoyed my office visit and thought they treated me kindly, professionally and with respect, my experience afterwards was not so good. At the optometrists suggestion, I ordered a year worth of contacts. After receiving them and wearing them for a week, I called back to advise them that the contacts were not comfortable and made my eyes itchy and red. I was told in not so many words that there was no way they would take the contacts back (although all of the boxes but one had not been opened) and were not very nice about it. I'm not sure what was going on with that, but I ended up seeing someone else who corrected the problem and I will not return to Altig.

I have been seeing DR Altig for the past 15 years. He is a wonderful eye doctor and looked out for what was best for me. The staff has always been wonderful and have not had any issues. My contacts are always ordered right away and I get the call as soon as they come in.
