I Can See
At the Eye Center of Texas they offer Lasik surgery and cataract surgery. I only went in for a consultation but they were very friendly and answered all my questions.

Eye Center of Texas pushes ReStor which is not worth the high cost
Eye Center pushes ReStor IOls, which have turned out to be problematic for many patients due to waxy vision, halos and glare. Eye Center also charges much more for these premium IOLs than Baylor and other ophthalmologists. Eye Center minimize any discussion of the tired and true standard monofocal IOL which can be tweaked to give excellent distance and even intermediate vision.

The doctor I had at Eye Center did a very good job of quickly fixing a small hole in my retina. However, while I was very happy with the doctor, who seemed very good at her job, I was not happy with the rest of the office management, the wait time or the very high price (much more than originally quoted).
