Parvizian Rugs was founded almost 50 years ago with a mission to give its customers the highest quality with the largest selection available and best value in Oriental rugs. Over the years, Parvizian has become the name associated with Americas’ finest Oriental rugs.

Parvizian Company was first established in the US back in 1965, in the Georgetown area of our nation’s capital in Washington DC. After having opened several new locations in the District, the Parvizian brothers decided to settle in Bethesda, adding an array of beautiful furniture products to their rug collection. Currently, Parvizian Rugs have locations at Houston and Annapolis-Maryland.

Their European endeavours also flourished in Zurich, Switzerland dealing in wholesale merchandise and prior to that, in Romania, where they had established a rug workshop of 5000 weavers. Their massive wool factory in Pakistan and India had also been in operation for over 30 years.

With rugs selling for as little as $500 and as much as $150,000, Mr. Parvizian has worked with his share of high-profile clients. He counts scores of business executives, politicians and other investors as his customers. Parvizian has become the most prestigious and well-known rug gallery around the country with some of the most noted American and European clienteles, including the White House.
