Best delivery service!

We were very satisfied with what we bought but also we satisfied with the delivery service. The drivers were courteous and arrived just when they said they would.

Wow. Worst. Managment. Ever.

Just bought a 3300 sq. foot house and went to Bel on I-10 to furnish. I was talking on my cell phone to my wife about the furniture when the manager (Fred) asked me if I was being helped. I replied that I had been offered assistance, and that I was fine, thank you. The manager then proceeded to tell me how disrespectful it was for me to be in his place of business talking on my cell phone. I said, "excuse me?" because I was shocked at this particular style of customer service. He again told me that I was being rude and disrespectful by having a conversation with my wife. I told him that I didn't appreciate the way he was talking to me, and he told me for the third time that I was disrespecting him. I said that I would take my business elsewhere, and he said that that would be fine with him. Holy... and this is the Manager.

a joke for a furniture store

I get their flyers in mail almost every week with what seem to be great deals. I went to Bel three month ago to see a dining table they had in the flyer, when i got to the store the table was not in stock for 12 weeks. i really didnt need one so i decided not to buy.. I went back there a week ago and bought a bed and two nightstands.. they scheduled delivery for 1/19/2010, i waited " no call , no show" i called on 1/20/2010 and come to find out they were out of stock for 6 weeks of the items i purchased . When i asked for a refund, the store manager told me you paid cash good luck getting your refund , you have no choice but to wait.

I THINK THIS STORE JUST ADVERTISES STUFF THEY DONT EVEN HAVE.. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND MAKE YOU WAIT TILL THEY ARE READY TO GIVE YOU FURNITURE.. DONT SHOP AT BEL FURNITURE

Fantastic furniture

The best thing about this place is it's the real deal. Fantastic furniture! I got a dresser there with lots of little cubbies and big drawers, and with such simple lines it could be foreign.

Delivery is reasonable too, and they'll even do it on a weekend!

I didn't want to leave this place

After wandering into one furniture store around the corner and being disappointed, I knew this place was not far away and wanted to finally check it out. I'm so HAPPY I did. From the second you walk in, you know you're in furniture heaven.

The guy who first greeted me was great. He asked if I've ever been in here before and when I said no, he gave me just the right amount of info. I told him I was an interior design student, and he told me to touch and sit on everything...you don't have to tell me twice! Usually when I go into a place and let them know I'm an interior design student, I get the cold shoulder. Hello! I could possibly be giving you a lot of business in the future!

I love the layout of this place. You know how some furniture stores are overly cluttered with ugly plants with pheasant feathers sticking out of them? Not this place. Great space planning at it's best. Clean and classy. I'd charge a pretty penny too, but they are so worth it. Don't like the color of that sofa or occasional chair? No problem. They have plenty of fabric samples to choose from that can match anyone's taste, so go ahead and pick your design.

I didn't want to leave-when can I move in?! I will definitely be back to get inspired and in the future- I will give them my business.

WORST FURNITURE BUSINESS AND THEIR STAFF ***WARNING***

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! I BOUGHT FURNITURE @ THE 1-10 WEST/BELTWAY LOCATION AND TRULY REGRET IT!!!!! THE DELIVERY WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!! MANAGERS ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! AFTER THE WHOLE SITUATION ONE STAFF MEMBER WAS HONEST AND TOLD ME HE WAS TRULY SORRY BUT THAT BEL FURNITURE ALWAYS HAS PROBLEMS WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS AND DELIVERY BECAUSE THEY AVOID EXPLAINING THE TERMS TO DELIVERIES!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE I SURE DID....NEVER COMING BACK EVER AND LOUDLY EXPRESS IT TO MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, COWORKERS, AND PUBLIC!!!!!!!!

Buyer Beware!!! Review of the San Antonio Store

I wish I had seen this site prior to purchasing!!! While the San Antonio store itself is nice and the selection is nice, getting it delivered proves to be another issue! I purchased a hutch for my kitchen on Thursday, Jan. 27th @1:30 pm. (The time on my receipt.)
While with the sales lady I watched while she checked the delivery schedule for my area (just north of Leon Springs). I was shown and told that Thursdays were the day that deliveries were made in my area - OK fine. When I paid for the hutch, the person there again verified that the delivery was to be on Thursday, Feb. 3, and that I would be called between 11-1 to get the delivery window for my furniture. OK fine again. Thursday comes and between 11 and 1 goes, no call. So I call them, Talking with customer service, I am told - get ready for this one - that "We don't make deliveries on Wednesday and Thursday". I said "what?" thinking I hadn't heard correctly - "then why does my paperwork state that it is to be delivered today?" No answer. I just get the line of "I don't know why they "told" me that". Well not only was I told and by 2 different people, but I had it in writing as well. They just didn't seem to care. So I asked when are deliveries usually made to my area? I was told "on Mondays". So Why wasn't I scheduled for last Monday then I asked, The reply was "Well you only purchased it last Thursday, and there hasn't been time to get it from the warehouse." UNBELIEVABLE!! So I said when can it get to me then? I was told that I would be guaranteed to be on the Saturday Delivery Schedule. I would also again be called between 11-1 to let me know the delivery window.
Well now it is Saturday. I called @ 10:30 to make sure that I was getting my delivery - was told I was and I would be called. At 12:50 I called again, I was told I would be called by 1:30. At 1:50 I called again and again and again - finally got someone at 2 pm, she transferred me to the shipping dept. The shipping dept. tells me that they are backed up and that she doesn't have the schedule yet to call people with. I told her that she should have been calling people to let them know that they were backed up and that a phone call would be coming soon. That is called COURTESY! Something that businesses as well as people seem to be lacking in! I was put on hold to see what she could find out. I was then told that she would call be back in 3-5 minutes. It is 2:46. 46 minutes have gone by since I was told 3-5 minutes. I have tried calling 3 times and get no one to answer the phone - and this is at the store!!
Needless to say, I will not be buying furniture from this place ever again in my lifetime and I discourage any and all to do likewise! I will also be calling the Corporate Office on Monday to complain - but I am sure that they will not care either.

It is now 3:51. My delivery is now supposed to be on Sunday. The girl that works in the delivery - by the way was doing all that she could and such, said that she would try to see about getting the delivery fee cut in half because of all the problems. I also asked to speak to the owner. She said that she had been trying to contact/page him for sometime concerning my order and that she hadn't spoken to him yet. She also said that I might be on hold for some time. So I was put on hold and a few minutes later he came on. Mr. Mollai - the store owner - WHAT A COMPLETE ASS!!! He is a middle eastern sounding man, that won't let you get a word in edgewise, and if you can say a few words, will not let you tell him that his store is run poorly - "HOW DARE YOU TRY TO COMPLAIN TO ME!! YOU WANT YOUR HUTCH OR NOT? I will refund you right now!!! And I will not give a discount on the delivery fee. Mistakes were made, that doesn't mean anything to me- you want your hutch or not?"
The man was completely rude, obnoxious, and out of line! I pity the people that have to work for him!

San Antonio/ 1-10 location

There is nice furniture but the people suck! THIS place is CRAZY!!!!! I purchased items on mon Jan 21, 2011 and still havent recieved my items and told I was going to on Fri 5th. There was bad weather so ok Sat. Now am told they don't even know when we will be getting our items and have not helped one bit. No one seems to give a straight answer. They simply say "I don't know why". The guy Edmond who sold us the furniture told us he was with a customer and he'd call back and never did. They took our money and now we are nothing to them. I am going down there today to complain and demand my money back!!!!

10 min. waiting on the line and she told me yes it is already in storage.
-Ok,if it is in flat box i will come by my SUV to pick it up,if it is wraped with plastic i will come by rental truck.
-it is wraped with plastic so you need a truck Mam.
So i rented a truck.
45 min. driving and i get Bel Furn.
-Hi,i am here to pick up my sofa bed.
-Ok,lets go to storage,so you can check the box and sign the paper.
-Box?
-yes it is in the flat box?
-but the lady on the phone told me it is wraped with plastic?
-No mam it is flat box here it is.

so he opened the box and i seen a dark brown sofa bed.

-What color is this Sir?
-it is dark brown.
-?? but the sales person ordered ar white sofa bed,i want white not brown.
-ok mam,let me check with customer service

waiting half hour and they said tsales person put black one order number by mistake.

-Mam how about brown,do you want to get brown sofa instead of white?
-No,if i need brown i would order brown.
-so mam nothing to do,we just need to re-order and waitr 2 more weeks.
-???? i do not want to wait 2 more weeks i just want my money back.
-Mam just because you paid cash we can not give your money now,you need to wait a check.
-Why,i gave you cash and i want my money.
-no we can not do that.
-how long it takes to get a check.
-2 weeks
nice no couch no money,just paid 75 dolar for rental truck and gas.

People works at bel are stinky.

please be aware.

they even did not say SORRY!!!

Really good price!

I had been hinting at a new mattress for quite some time, but I wasn't sure if my husband would ever get the picture. Turns out he was just waiting for a great deal from Bel Furniture. we got the latest Serta mattress for a really good price!
