Peninsula Dog and Cat Clinic, serving the North Portland area, is a veterinary hospital designed to meet the needs of pet owners for all of their veterinary questions and concerns.

Our veterinarians and staff provide a wide range of services including everything from regular check-up visits to emergency vet care. We also offer free exams for pets adopted from the Oregon Humane Society or the Multnomah County Animal Services.


Our North Portland veterinarian, Dr. Kenneth DeRemer, is a small animal vet and is well-trained to provide experienced and extensive care for animals visiting our clinic. Additional services we offer include vaccinations, spay and neuter services, cat or dog surgery, and check-ups with a focus on creating a successful wellness program for your pet. The overall goal at our veterinary hospital is to provide a well-rounded, comfortable experience for each and every pet.

Small Animal Vet Care Provided for Dogs, Cats, Pocket Pets, Small Mammals and Chickens

At our small animal vet clinic, we treat and work with many types of animals. Our North Portland veterinary hospital provides medical care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, small mammals and chickens. If your canine requires advanced medical assistance, our veterinary staff is able to perform dog surgery. We can also help maintain your pet's oral hygiene with preventative and corrective dog dental care. In addition to the services we provide our pet patients, we also perform emergency vet care for the pound and provide assistance for bunny advocates in the area.

Between appointments for regular check-ups or routine vaccinations, our veterinarians and staff strive to help you maintain a wellness program which includes helpful health information and tips for at-home animal care.
