Fleeced in Lake Oswego!

I have been a customer of Healthy Pet for years. The staff is usually curteous... they have a nice selection and its closeby.

I have noticed through the years that they price their items higher...but recently I went in to buy my dogs favorite treat by Smokehouse and saw a dramatic $2 increase. I was told rudely that it wasn't their fault... that it resulted from the manufacturer. A Smokehouse representative just stated to me, that this was not true and they did not increase their prices. So BUYER BEWARE! AM!

Love Healthy Pet

I noticed bad reviews and they mostly seem to be about the product which is not having to do with Healthy Pet. THEY DO NOT MAKE THE PRODUCTS! As far as food increases they have been going up everywhere and I have noticed that their prices are very competative. I will continue to go there as I always have.

I will go elsewhere.

I have been going to this store for thirteen years, but today I was treated in such a rude and dismissive way that I will not go back. It's unfortunate because I have to drive past nearly every day. But I will drive past and buy my pet supplies elsewhere from now on.

astounded at several negative reviews!

I moved to Lake Oswego a year and a half ago from the Portland West Hills. I had shopped with Western Pet Supply for years and still do occasionally when over there. This little store in Lake Oswego has bent over backwards to order kibble and biscuits they normally don't carry for my Great Dane.
I was astounded to read that a few people thought the staff was rude. I have never been treated anything but kindly when I go in. Regarding knowlegable? I have never expected expertise from a dog supply store! Petco doesn't exactly shine in the area of pet experts. This little store does know their foods ...and I don't expect more than that. They are always willing to special order requests. They sponsor pet aid projects. I have always found them cordial. This is all and more I expect from a pet supply retailer. The woman who keeps on driving? Well that may be a good thing but I hope she finds what she is looking for.
