Great place to eat convenient to Downtown Columbus
This Max & Ermas is located in the mall at City Center. We were in town for an event and ended up here with a good friend for dinner. This restaurant quality sucks
I have been frequenting Max and Ermas since 1980 and they quality of food is very poor. Don't get curbside carryout at the Reynoldsburg restaurant because they always get the order incorrect. It is very frustrating to get home and find out that they didn't give you what you ordered. I have also had glass in my food from this restaurant also. So they are very careless!Still sucks after all these years...
WELL, what can I say about the once truly great restaurant called Max and Erma's? The original had fresh food with fresh buns from a bakery sent to the restaurant daily. The menu was simple and delicious. Now, they can barely get an order right. The beef is dry even when the burger is cooked right and the rueben is so tough, it is inedible. The chocolate cake is a gooey mess and the rest of the food is forgetable. The prices are high and nothing is cooked fresh in the restaurant. Everything is over seasoned, salty and just made to feed the masses. I used to frequent that restaurant but I don't go there anymore unless I have to. There are other really notable restaurants in the area that I frequent. Max and Ermas better go back to the original menu and fast or they will loose their entire customer base.Poor service
The service is slow and inattentive. We had to flag our waiter several times and waited 40 minutes for him to take our order. He was more interested in cleaning tables and talking with his friends at the next table. We had no silverware or napkins. he brought the soft drinks at the end of the meal. The restaurant was not busy because it was 2 PM, and there were only six people in the place. The food is your average fare, burgers, sandwiches and salads. Our food was lukewarm and over salted.Good food. Good Service.
I'm tired of hearing people whine about how expensive the burgers are. You get what you pay for. $7.99-$9.99 for a gourmet burger is not bad at all. You also have options for a 6oz or 10oz burger. The menu is decent with options to pick from no matter what kind of mood your in. Fresh salads to pastas, tons of appetizers, and even seafood. Not to mention the 321 happy hour is great! 3 dollars off apps, 2 off of draft beer (bud light and mich ultra for a 1.25) and a buck off of liquor. That's hard to beat... I have never had an issue with the service, however, there are certain servers who are much better than others. The bartenders are great, the managers are friendly and always around. The E. Broad location is the best around.Great Friendly Service
Jackie was our server and she did a great job. She was friendly and genuine. We had a big party, lots of kids. Thank you. We will be back.Worldwide > United States > Reynoldsburg, OH > Restaurants
