Integrative Physical Therapy of NYC

Integrative Physical Therapy of NYC was officially established in January of 2014 only in name. In actuality the practice has had its doors open since 1984 when Dr. Willner started his private practice model of combining Physical therapy and Chiropractic care. Over the years Dr. Willner has held a high standard when it comes to the treatment of his patients. Dr. Willner established strong relationships with his patients and referring physicians due to his consistent results of getting patients back to a pain free life with increased function. Dr. Willner brought Dr. Ruggiero onto his staff in 2007 and Dr. Ruggiero quickly became convinced that Dr. Willner’s model of patient focused manual care was the most effective and efficient physical therapy care in the fast paced world of NYC. From 2007-2013 Dr. Ruggiero worked for Dr. Willner taking time to learn from him and model his clinical skills and gain knowledge to become a better clinician.

After 30 years of practicing full time Dr. Willner was ready to take a step back and take on a partner in Dr. Ruggiero. Integrative Physical Therapy of NYC is our new name and we will continue to focus and provide individualized patient care and manual therapy.
