Fleischman, A Men's Salon is a one-room, intimate environment. Located on the ground floor of a residential building in midtown Manhattan, the space is earthy and masculine, with leather club chairs, dark-wood floors, a tin ceiling and what we think is just the right amount of taxidermy.

I just happened to walk by this place - and now that I've been, I'll never go anywhere else.Best Experience In The City
Erica Fleischman is a truly unique experience enhanced primarily by the wonderful ladies that work at this fine establishment. From the hot towel wrap to the big leather chairs in which your hair will be delicately and carefully attended to with the care and perfection of a world renoun sculptor, your time at this salon will be relaxing and refreshing. The service is superb and the environment is ideal. I will not get my hair cut at any other establishment, and I look forward to my time here time and time again.A Cut Above...
I'm a simple man. When I get a hair cut, I usually go to a barber. But my experience at Erica Fleischman's salon, on recommendation, was great. Not only are the hair cuts top notch, but all the extra's make it more than worth while. Nothing like sitting back with a cold one in a big leather chair, talking sh-- with the staff and customers, while getting an excellent cut and manicure. You feel at home, unlike some of these factory-style salons, and these ladies do care that you look your best.Get Involved
after getting my hair cut at the same place for the past decade, i moved into the city and was recommended to erica fleischman's. i was a bit nervous, but i couldn't have been happier. i won't even return to my original barber. the actual space is slick and all the girls that work there are extremely cool and really know their sh-t when it comes to cutting hair. you are a fool if you are letting anyone else touch your head. get involved.Warm comfortable atmoshere and a superb salon experience
I've been following Erica for quite awhile and followed her to her new salon. The warm and inviting color palate makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Then you're greeted with friendly staff and offered a drink, what's not to like? It's been my experience that Erica likes to keep herself current in what's going on in the industry to keep her clientele looking fresh.Just a place to kick back and remain in style
Erica knows how to style men's hair, bar-none. Her vision of the salon is appealing because it is a refuge in a frenetic-paced city where gentlemen can kick-back, get pampered, and hang out. The attenion to customers' needs is apparent the moment you walk in, and the friendly vibe makes you want to stay. After the results (and some chatter and drinks) and see how great you look, you are ready to make your next appointment and, will no doubt, become a "regular."best "under the radar" salon in ny
for celebrities or people who want private, truly personal service this is the place. Like your own very tiny club. Great haircut, great manicure. No big scene.Great atmosphere, Great people, Awesome Job, I will go back!
If your a guy that wants a great job done with your hair this is the ONLY place to go. I would say your getting more than your moneys worth here. I was more of a walk-in type of guy, not any more. I'll be calling in for a reservation soon. After Erica looked at me and talked about my hair it was off to the sink for a great wash and scalp massages. Then Erica took off with the scissors. I was very happy with the result and look forward to my next visit. This Is a Great place for a DYNAMITE hair style/cut, sure as sh--! Not your local barber shop! So, So, much better!!! You will be hooked! Go ahead and call they don't bite and you will be happy that you did! Keep up the Great work. What a concept for a New York City establishment to actually be nice to customers. I am so happy I found you. A++++ Men's Salon. Thank you Thank you Thank you.An ok haircut overall, but expensive and not customized
Since my excellent hairstylist returned home to Tokyo last year, I have encountered a countless number of incomptetent hair cutting charlatans in Manhattan. So a while back I decided to try Erica. Well... She knows how to cut men's hair, how to spot the overall shape and the peculiarities of hair growth patterns -- no question about that. However, when I made a specific request on some trimming that I wanted her to do with shearing scissors, it was clear that she couldn't do that; it was obvious that she had no clue about that particular technique (which was hilarious since the salon positions itself almost as a semi-exclusive enclave for stars and celebrities... )Instead, she cleverly changed the topic and proceeded to lecture me on how to properly dry my hair after taking a shower. Erica, being all about business, alloted only 27 minutes of her precious time to me (by comparison, my Tokyo stylist cut my hair for 45 minutes). The haircut was not bad, but lasted only a week or so and one side turned out to be longer than the other. For $80 or so that I paid, it was not worth it. So, if you can afford to shell $80 every week, you will look good. Otherwise, look for somebody else.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Beauty & Spas
