New York Comedy Club

Launching the careers of top comedians in New York City, Al Martin established the <a href="http://www.newyorkcomedyclub.com/" target="_blank">New York Comedy Club</a> in 1988, to showcase these talented artists. The comedy club became the first of its kind with two showrooms and Martin was the first comedy club owner to embrace diversity in the comedy world. From the success of the New York Comedy Club, Martin went on to open Broadway Comedy Club in the heart of Times Square.
New York Comedy Club has featured some of the top comedians in the industry on their stage. See comics as seen on MTV, Comedy Central, VH-1, BET and Showtime. Top headliners include Michael Somerville, Ruperto Vanderpool, Marc Theobald, Del Harrison, and Dustin Chafin, to name a few.
Owning three comedy clubs in New York City, including Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Martin is known as the King of NYC comedy.
