Bump Brooklyn was founded in June 2007 by two fashion-conscious moms who recognized that, in a borough bursting with baby strollers, there was a surprising void of chic stylish maternity fashions.
Hannah Macdonald and SaSaDi Odunsi (who bonded during downward-facing dogs in a mommy-baby yoga class) dreamed up Bump, a boutique designed for the urban pregnant shopper who was not so willing to give up her sense of style when she was not feeling, well, so stylish. The result: a refined shopping environment selling a wide assortment of well priced maternity clothes, contemporary designer lines that can be worn during pregnancy, nursing and transitional wear, products to pamper and prepare, and a place for moms-to-be to connect before their bundles arrive.
Bump’s selections provide the pregnant customer options when they don’t want to give up fashion for nine months with a contemporary look she’d otherwise wear.

cute things but bad service
went into the store on a sunday and was met with a sour attitude by someone who is clearly not financially invested in the store. could obviously care less about her job or if i bought anything or not. came back a second time and the two women working (sunday) were too engrossed in there obnoxious conversation to help with the difficult task of finding a nursing bra that fit properly. too bad, its in the neighborhood and stock cute things. shopping on weekdays when the owners are more likely to be around is advisable...

Great maternity and nursing selection.
As one of the owners of Bump its hard to be impartial about our store, but we are very sorry to hear that the previous reviewer did not have a good experience as we work very hard to provide everyone with the best experience possible when they shop with us. We have had some staffing changes since the review was written and are very proud of the quality, range and service we provide. If anyone does have a bad experience shopping with us, we hope they will let us know so we can work on improving the situation.

Pretty, Pretty, Pretty
The owners of Bump are both so adorable and friendly, not to mention stylish. They have a nice selection of soft fabrics in beautiful colors. I like the fact that they carry cute clothes and also accessories too! I believe that Bump has really filled a void and now pregnant Women can feel and look great.
