This coin shop is the closest around and it is great. It has all sorts of coins from Roman times to the state coins being collected today. They have all sorts of stuff and if they don't carry what your looking for they will try to find it for you at some other shop. They are very helpful and have a great collection of coins.Go somewhere else
I called to inquire about store stock. The man who answered was a Grade-A JERK. Told me it was very expensive to have someone do your hobby for you. What is the point of their business if not to make money off of hobbyists?la jolla coin shop old fashioned & rude people
i saw good reviews about this place, so i called to buy gold ingot. an old man answered the phone, and i asked if they sold gold ingot by the gram- he was baffled. he said" i guess i dont cause ive never heard of that". wtf?? never heard of gold ingot? so i asked him if he sold gold by the gram or bought it by the gram- which is the same question, he sounded all pizzed and testy..replying "NO I DONT" . " I SELL IT BY THE OUNCE". anyhow i thanked him and said goodbye , but before i even hung up you could hear that he had slammed the phone! lol, i dunno but it was weird, whatever this old dudes deal was i thought he was rude and needs to seriously chill. seriously.Go somewhere else
