very good food but bit overprice
I will give the food four stars very good shaworma and kibbe, but I think it is overpricedgreat food
fabulous food, okay price for the stuff they offer. i do takeout a lot more than dine in. they are nice but a little priceyThis review is actually for the Hillcrest Location
It's on Cleveland Ave near Ralphs/Trader Joe's and it's simply wonderful! I've been going there for about 5 yrs! The owner is personable and makes it a point to introduce himself and speak to customers. The cook (George) is amazing and makes the best chicken I've ever tasted in my life! The hummus is wonderful and the pita is fresh and made on site. If you haven't been here you must try it out! It's fresh and healthy and delicious!Good gyros
Aladdin has the best gyros I've found in San Diego, as well as falafel and other standard Mediterranean dishes. The service is efficient but not terribly friendly, and the prices are a little steep, but the ambiance is nice.At Least I Tried It
I went to Aladdin Cafe because I never have tried Middle Eastern food. I tried it and I did not like it at all. It was spicy and a tart flavor. It was horrible, but I guess I am so used to American, Italian, and Chinese food that I just am not used to the taste. But if you like Middle Eastern food then I would go because the staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was really nice.I love this place!
I go here all the time and I never get tired of it! I can always enjoy a fresh salad or taboulii or hummus. Sometimes i get the chicken kabob with fresh garlic spread!!! What time is it? I want to go now !!!! Love the place! Would take any friend who wants to experience the food that mesopotamia is famous for, dont you know the middle easterns were the ones who thrived during the begining of time. They were able to strive due to thier diet of whole grains and fresh vegetables....great food
