The Pain Institute of Nevada is a superior pain management practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, having been established in the 1980s and now run by triple board-certified physician Dr. Katherine Travnicek, MD, FIPP.

Dr. Travnicek MD is triple board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain medicine, and brain injury medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialities (ABMS). She has many years of experience and specializes in treating spine, brain, nerve and musculoskeletal disorders.

Dr. Travnicek earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson and completed a medical internship at the University of Nevada in Reno. She then completed a PM&R residency at John Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Travnicek finished an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio where she served as Chief Fellow.  

Dr. Travnicek offers a wide array of treatments for painful medication conditions. Treatment offerings include a variety of spine injections, Botox®, discography, joint injections, epidural corticosteroid injections, spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve stimulation, nerve blocks, trigger point injections and Qutenza® patches.
