The Tavern is located in the Windsor Square Building, formerly known as The Windsor Hotel. Built in 1885, it was designed to be a workingman's hotel, and with its proximity to both the Union and Burlington train stations, it soon became a place for railroad passengers to enjoy a drink and bite to eat during their layovers.
