Burke Street Pizza has been a part of the fabric of Downtown Winston-Salem since early 2003. Started by a native New Yorker, this neighborhood pizzeria has won numerous awards, including Best Pizzeria. Our second location opened in 2010 in the Sherwood Plaza Shopping Center off of Robinhood Road. great food
The subs are wonderful. The steak and cheese sub was the best. It was filled with steak, cheese, and mushrooms. The price was under 9.00 (including tax and tip) I actually got it delivered to my work and the delivery man was very nice.

One of the Best in WS
If you like Mario's, you'll probably like Burke Street Pizza. As a long time Mario's fan, I have slowly been won over by Burke Street Pizza. One thing they have over Mario's (for the fan of slices) is the variety of specialty pizzas they have on daily basis. If you get tired of Cheese and Pepperoni slices for lunch, Burke Street will give you one more option every day. My favorites are the Voodoo Chicken and the Bacon Cheeseburger pizzas.

A Taste of Home
This is wonderfully authentic NY style pizza. The variety of pizzas is a plus but you can't fake a plain old cheese pizza and theirs is great. Just one more reason to stay in the Triad.

Small building, Big Good Pizza
we eat at Burke Street Pizza for the first time last Tuesday night. We thought the pizza was very good, chicken stripe good, too. The kids were so intertained by the guys spinning the dough around and making the pizza's they didn't want to eat. Everyone seemed friendly, even though they were busy getting the delivery's made and out the door.

RUDE DRIVERS COLD FOOD
WE ORDERED FROM BURKE ST NOT ONLY WAS THE GUY 2 HOURS LATE..HE WANTED A TIP I THINK NOT.THE FOOD WAS COLD.PIZZA SOGGY.CALLED TO COMPLAIN THE MAN TELLS ME.SORRY MAM WE ARE BUSY.THATS ALL YOU GOT NO DISCOUNT FOR WAITING 1.5 HRS LONGER THAN TOLD.THE NEXT DAY I GO TO THE STORE TO CONFRONT MANAGER.DISGUSTED BY THE FILTH I TOLD HIM TO KEEP HIS MONEY MAYBE HE CAN HIRE SOMEONE TO KILL THE ROACHES..NEVER AGAIN WE LOVED BURKE ST PIZZA AFTER SEEING IT..IM SICK

Im shocked
We have had burke st before always delivery till we got tired of the long wait.So we go there to eat while eating our dinner at the front window.Rain starts coming in from the rotted ceiling i was speechless.The employees they found it amusing.So much play noone cleaning seen a female employee in restroom she did not wash her hands before going back in kitchen.Needless to say we will not be eating there ever again.

Great Pizza By The Slice!
I order from Burke Street Pizza at least once a week and it is always good. There Philly cheese steak sub is amazing. For a great slice or a yummy sub I would always recommend Burke Street Pizza!American Express
