Quality and Value
I recently ate at TGI Friday's in Cary and I must say i was impressed by the food and service. The friendly staff and great food made this a very enjoyable meal. I would reccomend Friday's for anyone looking for a good meal with a great atmosphere.Enjoyed it!
The food was great. Service was friendly and helpful. Always seems to be a wait on weekends, but sometimes you can seat yourself at the bar area if you don't mind the smoking section. On our last visit, the salads were drowned in dressing, but the food is usually wonderful. They are always updating their menu with new items.A Disappointment
I expected this restaurant to be quite good, considering the other reviews for it. It was terrible. It is much too expensive, at least for the food that is served. The burgers are not high quality, and the service is not good at all. I do not recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for a better burger place in the Raleigh/Cary area, try Porter's or the Village Draft House in Cameron Village.Best lasagna Amedeos
I have been a customer of TGIF Friday's since its original opening in Raleigh. They became known not only for their good food, but excellent service. Their uniqueness of Hot Bacon Dressing, Fried Mushrooms, Great onion rings, good baked potatoes, not to mention the good meals of one price offered made them a stand-out for me and most of my associates. I have video of my 40th birthday where else, but Friday's. I am very dissapointed that the service and menu has all but vanished. In a visit the the Kildaire Farm location, I had to seat myself (I had waited the time before over 10 minutes to be acknowledged). Once seated, there was an excessive wait to know who my server would be. I had been fortunate to still be able to get the Hot Bacon/Mustard drsg. earlier, but not this early evening. There were very few people, yet it took forever to get our meal. The ribs my companion received were dry, and without the sauce would not have been pallatable. I ordered the skirt steak with "red" potatoes, which proved to be regular potatoes. When I asked for horshradish, a standard with steak, I was told there was none. I used to get a stick of bread with my salad. That too is in the past. Lastly, the al a carte stinks. I ended up paying individually for each thing I received, and basicly eating them one at a time. Aside from points I have stored on the Friday's card, which I doubt they will redeem, I do not inted to ever go back to what used to be my favorite place to eat.Worldwide > United States > Cary, NC > Restaurants
