Come, Grow & Go: Severna Park United Methodist Church is a vibrant community where you can explore and discover faith at your own pace. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, this is a safe place to ask big questions, take first steps in understanding the Bible, experience different kinds of worship and connect to a Christian community of people who care. We offer all kinds of opportunities for children, youth and adults to grow as followers of Jesus Christ. There are Sunday School classes for all ages, short and long term classes, seasonal studies, Fellowship Clubs, Men's & Women's groups and a variety of opportunities for support and conversation. Additionally, we have an outstanding youth program, the best Vacation Bible School in the area and a thriving Young Adult Group. Serving others in the name of Christ is at the heart of our congregation. You will find lots of hands-on ministry opportunities for local, national and international service. We host Winter Relief shelters for our unhoused neighbors, work with the Kairos Prison Ministry and partner with Brooklyn Park Elementary School. We also reach out to people struggling to make ends meet in the Baltimore area through meal and tent ministries and street outreach. Every summer we send a large team of youth and adults to the Appalachia Service Project and we deploy two or more Volunteers in Mission teams (nationally and/or internationally) each year to demonstrate our love in action.
