Here at Total Recall Antiques, we are never out of the old and valuable. Our shop is filled with unique and special pieces to fall in love with and bring into your home.
Before an item can be displayed at our store, it is tediously inspected by our quarterstaff who underwent a rigorous training in spotting whether an item is an authentic antique or just a mere fake so our clients are assured that everything that we offer on our shop is the real deal. We take pride on all of our collection, especially on the array of our oriental furniture. As a standard procedure the oriental furniture, we check its back panel to check its age. We look at the carving and other details to make sure all was handmade.The cracks, fissures, and warping of the furniture is inspected too because complete absence of such, or the absence of repairs and restorations of such is likely to mean the wood is more recent. Aside from these, we also observe the dirt lodged in fissures and recesses, inlays, wood type, lacquer, gilt or paint and wax.
