Dr. Shields is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolargyngology-- Head and Neck Surgery. He has actually been in practice in Tuscaloosa, Alabama since 2005. Dr. Shields provides ear, nose and throat care to adult and pediatric patients. His particular areas of practice interest include the medical and surgical treatment of sinusitis, pediatric ENT, allergies, nasal obstruction, snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, and the treatment of acute and chronic ear problems like infection, hearing loss and vertigo. Dr. Craig Benoit has actually remained in private practice in Tuscaloosa since August of 2002.
