Christopher Chappell, DO

Chris Chappell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who sees patients 18 years and older. He provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams and vaccinations. He treats a wide range of conditions, including cold and flu symptoms, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, lung disease, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, excessive alcohol use, tobacco use, obesity, diabetes and joint pain.

Family medicine provides Dr. Chappell with the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with his patients. His overall approach to patient care is centered around providing patients with the resources, knowledge and guidance necessary to enable them to make the best possible decisions when it comes to their health.

Originally from Iowa, Dr. Chappell enjoys woodworking, hiking, backpacking and camping trips with his family. His favorite place to visit in St. Louis is the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Dr. Chappell earned his medical degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his family medicine residency at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
