If I could share one insight on wellness:
For me, wellness encompasses a holistic approach towards both
presentation and treatment. Keeping in mind the relationship between
mind, body and spirit helps us to avoid overlooking key factors affecting
one’s health.

My patient care philosophy:
First, there needs to be focus on establishing a strong relationship with
my patients - I am always interested in understanding their perspectives
and addressing their questions. I strive to provide education regarding
the current guidelines provided by various medical organizations, and to
have a dialogue about developing an individualized treatment approach.

Commitment to Collaboration:
Dr. Firouzi has over 20 years of experience dedicated to serving his
local community. During this time, he has collaborated with other
professionals in various capacities including as a primary care physician,
medical director, physician consultant for an electronic health record
company, and a medical informatics officer.

Experience with Ayurvedic Medicine:
Ayurveda is a traditional Eastern health science utilizing a natural
approach with a focus on diet, herbs, yoga and breathwork to help
restore balance. As a certified Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Firouzi can
introduce Ayurveda into his consultations when appropriate.
