Damian was born and raised in Lake Arthur, Louisiana. He attended McNeese State University and earned his Associate degree in nursing in 2003. He then attended University of Dundee in Scotland where he received a Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2008. He earned a Masters in Nursing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 and became board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
