Pure Dermatology is a dermatology clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah, led by experienced physician assistant Lea Hedstrom, MMSc, PA-C, and her skilled team. The practice cares for patients 10 and older in a welcoming environment.

Pure Dermatology provides comprehensive skin evaluations by reviewing patients’ medical histories and skin concerns. Lea completes full body skin exams to screen for cancer, including concerning moles. She follows up with patients and empowers them with the knowledge of sun protection and other skin care practices that maximize their health.

Pure Dermatology treats teenage and adult acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, warts, moles, hair loss, rashes, cysts, and much more. Patient education is essential, allowing them to fully understand the expectations and treatment goals needed to achieve superior results. Lea is passionate about skin health and helping patients look and feel their best.

She has 11 years of experience building long-lasting relationships with patients and continuously maintaining their trust. She received her undergraduate degree at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. She completed her physician assistant studies at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina.

She finished her medical training with a dermatology internship at Ogden Clinic in Ogden, Utah. Lea specializes in cancer screenings and treating rashes, eczema, and psoriasis. She provides in-office dermatology procedures, medication prescriptions, and post-Mohs reconstructive surgery.

When she’s not in the office, Lea enjoys running, biking, skiing, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
