Gilit Kontny joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Property Group in July of 2017. She has sold over $3 million since joining Berkshire Hathaway. She brings over 12 years of marketing and business development experience, and she will use her experience to create innovative ways to broaden the awareness of Berkshire Hathaway’s services while also servicing a variety of additional residential and commercial real estate client objectives. Prior to Berkshire Hathaway, Gilit worked for Savills Studley, a global tenant representative firm, focusing on helping businesses acquire space, whether to lease, purchase or renew their lease.

Activities & Achievements
Gilit is an alumni of the Leadership Tampa Bay, Class of 2016-2017 and currently serves on the board of directors. She's been actively involved in the Tampa and Lakeland community with organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, American Business Women Association, Rotary Club International and the Boys and Girls Club. She has also served on the board of directors for the Achievement Academy, a charter school that works with children with learning delays and learning disabilities. She has chaired events including golf tournaments and yearly fundraisers. Gilit received the Rotary Club South 2005-2006 Rookie of the Year, 2009-2010 ABWA Fundraising Chair, 2011 John F. Schneider Volunteer Award for the Achievement Academy and a Paul Harris Fellowship.
