Local Take

San Francisco's favorite gift store features products from local designers, including art, jewelry, accessories, t-shirts, home goods, and so much more. There’s an enormous amount of talent in this beautiful city of ours and we wanted to create a space that celebrated the art that is created here, and the artists that make it. Some of it is San Francisco themed, some of it is not... but it's all gorgeous, unique and made in the Bay Area. Local Take is where you can: -Find gifts for yourself and others -Bring your out of town guests so they can find their perfect souvenir - the kinds of souvenirs people will actually love and use -Decorate the walls of your apartment Since opening in the Castro in May 2013, Local Take has been enthusiastically embraced by its neighbors, locals and tourists. So much so that we were able to open a second location in the inner Sunset in April 2016. With an ever growing collection of products, Local Take currently showcases over 150 Bay Area artists and designers. We look forward to supporting even more local artists and designers in the years to come.
