A1 SEO has very modest starts. Graham Grieve initially started the business (previously known as GMS Digital) in 2014 to support bands, artists, and not-for-profits with their marketing efforts.

Following some initial success, small businesses began approaching us for more intricate marketing initiatives. A full-service digital marketing agency offering everything from SEO to social media management and web design quickly emerged from the business as a result of the demand.

We soon realised that we were just another digital agency that offered a variety of services but had just mediocre expertise in everything other than search engine optimization.

Late in 2016, the business outsourced all web design, graphic design, and social media management to reputable niche specialists in order to concentrate only on SEO. The passions of our group are in this area.

We just so happened to grow this passion at a moment of exciting change for the SEO sector. A few exciting updates that Google recently made had completely altered the SEO landscape. As a result of our renewed focus, the team kept producing outcomes. There are a tonne of results.

To better reflect our focus on search engine marketing, we rebranded GMS Digital as A1 SEO at the beginning of the year. By this time, 94% of our business was made up solely of SEO and also PPC, with the remaining 6% consisting of development projects that worked closely with SEO initiatives and focused outreach initiatives to influencers.

We committed ourselves to advertising SEO among businesspeople. Concrete, integrated marketing strategies that help services in dominating their niche are developed from knowledge passed on by skilled professionals in the sector.
