Ilya earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Illinois at Chicago, and her Master of Science degree from Alverno College in 2015. Ilya has extensive experience treating an array of psychiatric conditions that include but are not limited to: depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, thought disorders (such as psychosis), schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. She also treats patients with trauma, and substance use and behavioral disorders such as gambling. She gives every patient a detailed evaluation, identifying signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental illnesses that frequently co-occur. Vibrant Integrative Psychiatry welcomes patients who have a psychiatric history that requires complex and highly personalized care.

She and the Vibrant Integrative Psychiatry team are sensitive to the difficulties many people encounter navigating care for ADHD, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, and substance use disorder. Vibrant Integrative Psychiatry also welcomes less common conditions like schizophrenia, which often require complex and highly personalized care.

Addiction medicine is a specialty at Vibrant Integrative Psychiatry. Ilya and the team use medication, behavioral therapy, and holistic approaches to manage opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and behavioral addictions.

Ilya and the team keep patients’ safety and well-being in mind while managing their mental health, often collaborating with other practitioners. With psychogenomic testing, she can identify which medications, if any, are best for a patient. She can also improve their care with alternative treatment strategies like diet optimization and supplements.
