Kathy Chou, DO is an Assistant Professor in Regenerative and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in biological engineering. After earning her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) at Rutgers University/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation where she also served as Chief Resident. She is also fellowship trained in multidisciplinary pain medicine at the University of Michigan and specializes in interventional pain management.
Dr. Chou’s goal is to optimize level of function and improve quality of life for her patients. She practices multidisciplinary pain medicine, and customizes treatment plans for her patients, which can include medical, interventional, physical and behavioral therapies. She is skilled in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided procedures for neurologic, musculoskeletal and spine pain.
