Alpha Digestive and Liver Centre - Gastroenterologist Singapore

Dr Benjamin Yip is the Medical Director of the Alpha Digestive & Liver Centre and an accomplished Consultant Gastroenterologist. The National University of Singapore (NUS) awarded Dr. Benjamin Yip a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. He was thereafter made a member of the British Royal College of Physicians (UK). At the National University Hospital in Singapore, he finished his specialized training in general medicine before completing his advanced specialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology.
In order to sub-specialize in Advanced Endoscopy at the Royal Free and University College Hospitals in London, UK, Dr. Yip was then given the Health Manpower Development Plan award. He received training from a number of respected experts in the field of advanced endoscopy during his time there. He received instruction in deep enteroscopy, enteral dilation/stenting, SpyglassTM cholangioscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
