The team acknowledges the history of racism, sexism, transphobia, and homophobia in the field of psychiatry, and we seek to understand the effects of structural violence and systems of oppression on a person’s mental health.

The team frequently diagnoses and treats serious psychiatric conditions, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Our psychiatrists provide the long-term support needed to keep symptoms under control and to maximize function and quality of life.

Regeneration Psychiatry also specializes in fields such as women’s mental health (reproductive psychiatry) and outpatient addiction treatment.

No matter what challenge you face, the team works with them to design a comprehensive treatment plan in line with your values. Though we have advanced training in the safe use of psychiatric medications, we understand that medications aren’t for everyone or may not be enough for everyone.

Our treatment plans may include any combination of medications, psychotherapy, and complementary therapies, such as lifestyle and behavioral changes, mindfulness, meditation, and neuromodulation.
