In 2008 Bitcoin started as an ambitious idea to introduce a new digital currency In the first few years it was adopted only in tiny circles of believers and intellectuals. However, more than a decade later, Bitcoin has proven itself to have the revolutionary capability to force a redesign of the Internet, our financial system, and money in a way that fosters and protects the rights and dignity of the individual. Investors, institutions and countries are now rapidly adopting Bitcoin for their own particular use cases. While Bitcoin has not yet unleashed its full potential, we know that it is here to stay and will grow even larger.
