"I am a Doctorate-prepared, nationally board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I cherish working with children of all ages and developmental levels. In addition to my pediatric expertise, my practice focuses on the latest evidence-based medicine and I believe in family-centered care. When working with patients and their families, I value the trust, communication, and collaboration that can be achieved by working with the family in order to provide the best possible care so that children can live their healthiest lives. Additionally, I hold a board certification as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist. This means that I have extra training and experience in evaluating and treating children with common behavioral and mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I can provide medication management as well as managing referrals for these children with special health care needs. I am also proud to be one of the few Autism Centers of Excellence in Washington State designated by the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and can provide evaluations for children and families when there is a suspicion of an autism spectrum disorder. I am an affiliate professor at the University of Washington School of Nursing. It is important to me to be able to help educate and lead future pediatric nurse practitioners as they learn how to provide holistic, evidence-based care."
