Upstate Equipment is a veteran owned-and-operated 2nd generation family business located in Western New York. In 1998, John Freundschuh, our father & original owner, and his wife Sara purchased Bobcat of Buffalo, relocating from Rochester to Buffalo, NY. John had been employed as a salesman at a Rochester, NY dealership for 12 years prior to purchasing his own business in WNY. His dream of a family-owned and operated business lives on in his sons and daughters, each having grown up in the dealership. While our father passed in January 2010, his legacy, work ethic and life’s passion continues on in the hands of his children.
