Jillian Sarandrea

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Foresight. I received my Master's Degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Trauma, and I am a current PhD candidate in Psychology with a focus on International Trauma. I am a professional member of the American Psychological Association and a certified member of the National Board of Mental Health Counselors. I continue to educate myself by attending national and local conferences, and keeping up with current therapeutic research. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I have been trained in a range of theoretical techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is integrative in order to address your specific concerns in a way that is most effective for you. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, PTSD, coping skills, stress management, and interpersonal conflict. I have experience working with teens, adults, and families using trauma informed, strength based approaches, and mindfulness practices.
