Moocall

Moocall is a wearable sensor for cows that measures activity levels. It alerts users via SMS text messages when a cow is in heat or when calf is due to be born. These groundbreaking mobile sensors are designed to be an easy, non-invasive, reliable, and cost effective solution for herd monitoring to inform farmers when cows are in heat or about to give birth. Moocall Sensors has received several design awards, including a technological award for best new product at the LAMMA, Red Dot award, and the grand prix prize at the Irish design awards. It has also been nominated for the design of the year award in the British Design Museum.
