Before you begin you will need to gather the tools and supplies needed including:-3 inch flat head screwdriver-4 inch flat head screwdriver-T15, T20, or larger bit driver capable of handling 1/4 inch screws, Regular pliers ,Needle nose pliers-Duct tape. The deadbolt locks that you are replacing need to be removed, you can use needle nose pliers to remove any screws keeping the dead bolt on. Once these screws are out then you will need to use your T15 or larger bit driver to remove the old lock and switch out the dead bolt for the new one. The locks are all different but they all have a similar design of a cylinder that holds the actual internal lock mechanism in place.You can successfully change or replace your locks by following all instructions.
