Ride Brooklyn

Ride Brooklyn was founded by Jessica and Peter Kocher on May 9th, 2009.Contrary to the reputation at the time of NYC bike shops as havens for stodgy hipster know-it-alls, we sought to do things completely different. Ride Brooklyn's core values were founded as an all-inclusive shop welcoming people of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities. We take pride in making every customer feel welcome, whether you are a seasoned racer or a first-time rider. Our Service Staff has years of experience with all kinds of bikes. From kid's bikes with training wheels, Dutch cargo bikes, and fixed gears; to elite race bikes with hydraulic brakes and electronic shifting. You name it, we've probably worked on it. We are passionate about cycling and helping fellow cyclists, even if you don't consider yourself a cyclist.
