Cornelio Porras

Cornelio J. Porras, MD, FACP, FCCP, specializes in pulmonary diseases. Dr. Porras's expertise includes asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and smoking-related lung diseases such as emphysema.<br />

A Former United States Army Major, Dr. Porras practiced in internal medicine at Watson Army Hospital at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He joined New Jersey Physicians in 1996.<br />

Dr. Porras is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians. He is a recipient of the Army Meritorious Service Achievement Medal. He has also been featured in New Jersey Monthly “Top Doctors” listings.<br />

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Porras enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, hiking, traveling, and playing golf.
