Who says that a family operated business cannot endure and prosper in the twenty-first century? The folks at Daniel's Jewelry embrace their unique position in what is recognized as a very competitive business.

Already an experienced jeweler, Albert Daniel, his wife, and children, immigrated to America in 1963. From the beginning, Albert believed in the concept of personalized service and was determined to build his jewelry business on the foundation of that principle.

In 1969, Daniel opened Touhy Jewelers, located in Chicago. Twelve years later he celebrated the opening of his second store, Daniel's Jewelry, located at 1436 Waukegan Road in Glenview. Their sister store, Alval Jewelry, located in Wheeling, was opened in 1993.

Daughter Valery, a fourth generation graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, has worked with her father since the age of 10. She combines her own unique talents, which, along with her father's artful creations, provide distinctive works of art.

Valery and Albert are both involved in the daily operations of their friendly, full service jewelry establishments. Both participate in the hand crafting and custom design of creations from concept through the model and crafting processes to create the jewelry of your dreams.
