Glenn Lockwood, DDS, is a general and cosmetic dentist perfecting smiles throughout the Kenai community of Alaska at Kenai Dental Clinic. Today, he owns the clinic and has worked there for nearly 22 years. Dr. Lockwood is proud to provide a wide range of services at his practice, from routine dental cleanings and root canal procedures to professional teeth whitening and Six Month Smiles®.
Dr. Lockwood holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Russian, and military science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he was a member of the Army ROTC. Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Lockwood earned his dentistry doctorate from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, before beginning his general dentistry residency in the U.S. Army. He served for three years on the Maxillofacial Oral Surgery Service at the Nurnberg Army Hospital and continued his Army career for 17 years before moving entirely into the private sector.
With 40 years of dental experience, Dr. Lockwood has personally extracted more than 100,000 impacted wisdom teeth and has performed hundreds of thousands of other oral surgery extractions. He is highly trained and experienced in all facets of dental surgery, including endodontic procedures such as root canal therapy and cosmetic services like dental veneers and inlays and onlays.
Dr. Lockwood is proud to operate a clinic that uses the most advanced dental technology available. At Kenai Dental Clinic, he has invested in digital X-ray machines, an iTero intraoral digital scanner, and cone beam CT scan technology. He is passionate about providing patients with the highest quality care available and is always happy to meet new patients.
