Variety School of Hawaii

Established in 1961, Variety School of Hawaii in Honolulu educates students ages 5 through 22 who experience learning differences. With a unique, multidisciplinary approach, the Variety School of Hawaii supports their students with academic enrichment, therapeutic programs to encourage communication and independence, and a compassionate, highly trained staff. They also offer swimming and adaptive physical education classes to help students build their gross motor skills, and they provide one-on-one reading coaches to deepen the students’ understanding of written texts.

With accreditations from the Western Association from Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Hawaii Association for Independent Schools (HAIS), the Variety School of Hawaii continues to expand their training so they can help their students reach their full potential. With specialists in neurodivergent therapy and education, they’re able to respond to the unique needs of their students and their families.
