BNI Nexus is a networking group that passed just under £3,000,000 of business between its members last year. Although we are based in Giffnock, Glasgow, we attract participants from all over the surrounding area due to the effectiveness of our strategy for promoting business growth.

We believe that by directing our efforts towards securing referrals for each other allows us also to enjoy a number of opportunities which are offered in our direction.

Our approach to networking relies on a lack of competition; we understand it is not fair if two people in the same industry have to split their leads. Because of this, if you are a carpenter and join our chapter, no other carpenters will be allowed to take membership.

We have a broad range of industries and professions within our ranks from plasterers and accountants to printers and photographers. We want to keep expanding our group to be as diverse as possible to maximise the number of opportunities our members can take advantage of.

Our meetings take place on a Friday morning. Although we ask our members to arrive for 7am, the majority choose to come earlier in order to mingle and discuss their companies.

Although early, they revolve around a fantastic cooked breakfast served with juice and coffee! Only after everyone is fed and watered do we get down to business.

Firstly, everyone has their opportunity to make a small presentation about their company. People can offer updates on their business and any requests on specific referrals they are looking for.

Afterwards, our chapter members have a chance to mingle and swap any leads, connections, and other opportunities that they have secured for each other over the previous week.

We also have a lot of other optional events ranging from training across a broad range of subjects, team-building excursions, as well as a number of social events.

Supportive: Although our model is focused on securing referrals and connections for each other, our group goes above and beyond wherever necessary. Having a support network in place is absolutely invaluable whenever you are facing a potential problem or decision within your business.

Fair: Any opportunities that your fellow members find for someone in your line of work are yours, you will never have to share with another business within our group.

Powerful: Our chapter has around 40 members who are all continuously working to secure business leads for you and your company. By joining our chapter, you will begin to gain instantly from a sales force that even larger companies would be jealous of.
