Dr. Olayinka Adepitan of PainMD Associates in Plano, Texas, takes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to helping patients enjoy long-term pain relief. Dr. Adepitan believes in beginning with the least invasive, safest approach to relieving chronic joint and spine pain, and employs a variety of evidence-based medicine therapies along with alternative medicine to improve the overall quality of life for those living with chronic pain. It’s her goal to help adults of all ages achieve a greater quality of living through total mind and body wellness. Board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, and specializing in chronic pain management, Dr. Adepitan realized early in her medical training that she wanted to work in interventional pain medicine. 
She completed her residency and fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She is accredited by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and is an active member of several professional medical organizations, so she stays abreast of the latest treatments and technology. As the founder of PainMD Associates, Dr. Adepitan focuses on restoring function and reducing pain through comprehensive, individualized, compassionate patient care. She specializes in minimally invasive interventional techniques for pain management, including the newest modalities of Regenerative Medicine which include Stem Cell Therapy.
Dr. Adepitan may also recommend alternative therapies like acupuncture as a complement to traditional medical modalities. Additionally, as an important part of her philosophy, Dr. Adepitan forms a valuable doctor-patient partnership and collaborates with multidisciplinary health care professionals so she can help patients achieve optimal healing through therapies like nutritional supplements, IV ketamine therapies, and regenerative therapies.
When not at the office, Dr. Adepitan enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
